Meet Loretta Fox
Loretta Fox is the author of Walk Her Up the Stairs: A Caregiver's Healing & Spiritual Journey. She holds a B.A. in English from DeSales University, and an M.A. in Religious Studies from St. Charles Borremeo Seminary. She has been employed by two Philadelphia-based hospice organizations and is also a trained hospice volunteer. Loretta has worked in several spiritual settings, most notably in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia (Catholic) and as Administrator of Abington Friends Meeting (Quaker). She has worked as a care manager for senior adults and as a teacher. She was raised in Philadelphia, but currently lives in Maryland with her husband.

Loretta’s additional training (so far!) has been with Spirit Medium Karen T. Hluchan, Shaman Tracey Howard, and Qigong/Tai Chi and mind-body-spirit empowerment teacher Donna Price. She was raised in the Catholic tradition and is presently a Quaker, with close ties to the Jewish community through her husband. Loretta’s current writing projects include work on a book of poetry.
